2011. It’s Grandparents Day.
We celebrate...
To honor our grandparents.
To give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children's children.
To help children become aware of the strength, information and guidance older person can offer.
Specific acts to show that we honor our grandparents and elders:
We listen to them.
We obey them.
We respect them.
We make them happy.
We pray for them.
In honoring our grandparents, we honor God Himself. this is because God gave our grandparents to our parents and to us. And through the love, care and guidance which our grandparents give us all, we come to discover how loving and caring God is.
